Once we’ve connected to discuss your shoot, you’ll select an ideal date and pay the 50% reservation fee to lock it in (this is your cue to happy dance!)
Visit the Contact page and complete your details. Tell me about you and your loved ones, your vision for the shoot and the photography package you’re considering.
HOW IT WORKS
We'll meet 15 minutes before your session to chat and ease you into the shoot. Before you know it, you'll be doting on your loves while I subtly snap away.
Within 4 weeks, you’ll receive a private gallery link to select your favourite images and place your order. I’ll then send your files over for you to love forever!

Where & when are sessions held?
In-home lifestyle photography sessions are held at 10:30am, Monday to Saturday. Outdoor sessions are held at golden hour (the hour before sunset) at Royal Park, Parkville, or a location of your choice.
As a Melbourne-based lifestyle photographer who loves to travel, I am more than happy to offer my family photography, maternity and newborn photography services in surrounding areas at a small additional cost.

I’ll take a warm and relaxed approach to our shoot together. My photography style is candid and un-posed, but I will position you in a beautifully lit spot and ask you to play, tickle, cuddle or whisper something silly to your loves.
I'll rarely ask you to look at me, and will often quietly walk around while you are busy 'doing you.' I pride myself on creating a quiet, open space for you to connect deeply, while letting me in enough to shoot those magical little (but big) moments.

WHAT IF THE KIDS PLAY UP?
Being a nanny for years I get it, oh the shame of your little angel embarrassing you on shoot day *panic emoji insert* ! Kids are high energy, they are unpredictable, and if they are not feeling overly photogenic that day then boy will we know about it. My sessions are super relaxed, i'm armed with patience and have a few little tricks to keeps your little one's engaged.
Please remember, even in the chaos there are moments of pure love and those moments won't be missed by me.

I have partnered with Australia's oldest professional print lab who are renowned for their fine art quality photographs. If you would love your photos printed or framed, I can easily arrange this for you.
Alternatively, you can always opt to print the photos yourself. All photography packages include edited high-res images and a personal print licence. When printing your photos, I strongly recommend using a professional quality print lab to ensure your photos are perfect and last the test of time.

The truth is, I love all weather conditions - the wind, the soft light of an overcast day, the rainbow after a shower, and the incomparable mood just before a storm. It's all magic. And I'm happy to embrace what nature has in store for us.
But if the rain is pouring or it's freezing cold on the day, we can look at rescheduling your session to an alternative time or day.

I knew instantly Katy was the photographer for me. Her style was exactly what we wanted.
