what's your shooting style?
I’ll take a warm, relaxed yet intentional approach to our shoot together. My photography style is candid and un-posed, but I will position you in a beautifully lit spot and ask you to play, tickle, cuddle or whisper something silly to your loves.
I'll rarely ask you to look at me, and will often quietly walk around while you are busy 'doing you.' I pride myself on creating a quiet, open space for you to connect deeply, while letting me in enough to shoot those magic little moments.

Where & when are sessions held?
Melbourne lifestyle family photography sessions are held at your home at 10:30am, Monday to Saturday. Outdoor sessions are held at golden hour (the hour before sunset) at a location of your choice, within 20km of Melbourne's CBD.
As a Melbourne-based lifestyle photographer who loves to travel, I am more than happy to offer my family photography, maternity and newborn photography services in surrounding areas at a small additional cost.

What if the kids play up?
Having been a nanny for years, I completely understand your concern! But I promise you don't need to worry.
Kids are high energy and unpredictable, and if they are not loving the camera on the day then boy, will we know about it! Just know my sessions are super relaxed, I'm armed with patience, and even have a few little tricks up my sleeve to keeps your little one engaged.
Please remember, even in the chaos there are moments of pure love...those moments won't be missed by me

It's no secret golden skies are my favourite to shoot. But let's be real - this is Melbourne. The weather is famous for keeping us on our toes! The truth is, I love all weather conditions - the wind, the soft light of an overcast day, the rainbow after a shower, and the incomparable mood just before a storm. It's all magic. And I'm happy to embrace what nature has in store for us.
But if the rain is pouring or it's freezing cold on the day, we can look at rescheduling your session to an alternative time or day.
